Facility Use Coordination for Northwestern State is the responsiblity of the Director, NSU Facility Use and Friedman Student Union.  The Office of the Director for NSU Facility Use and Friedman Student Union (ODFU) is located in Room 214, Friedman Student Union.

ODFU serves as the central clearinghouse for the coordination, accounting, recordkeeping, and management of all facility use transactions for the University.  Working in collaboration with Building Managers, ODFU facilitates the efficient and effective flow of facility use requests, building manager approvals, ODFU confirmations, financial recordkeeping, and historical records of facility use transactions. 

All Facility Use Coordination actions are administered using Event Management Software (EMS), an automated, on-line system.  Confirmed facility use transactions ultimately appear on the University Calendar, which is available on-line at http://ems.nsula.edu

The Director, ODFU also directs the Friedman Student Union.  As Director he is responsible for event management, facility maintenance, and the Student Union operations budget. 

Summer Camps are coordinated by the Director, ODFU.  In this capacity he is responsible for the coordination, accounting, recordkeeping, and management of all Summer Camps occuring on the Natchitoches Campus.
